The Rycote Mini Windjammer for the Rode VideoMic Pro is a professional-grade windshield designed for videographers and content creators who frequently record audio outdoors. It provides superior wind noise isolation without sacrificing high-frequency detail, allowing for crystal-clear dialogue and ambient sound even in gusty conditions. While it is an essential tool for outdoor production, users should be mindful that its specific fit is optimized exclusively for the Rode VideoMic Pro, making it unsuitable for microphones with different dimensions.

No, this specific model is engineered exclusively for the Rode VideoMic Pro.
It can reduce wind noise by up to 10 dB in typical outdoor conditions.
It is designed to minimize wind noise while maintaining high-frequency clarity, resulting in minimal impact on overall sound quality.
We recommend gently shaking or brushing the fur. Avoid submerging it in water or using harsh detergents.
The Rycote Mini Windjammer is made from high-quality, durable synthetic faux fur.
Ensure the Windjammer is fully seated on the microphone housing and not bunched up. Check that no fur is obstructing the microphone input directly if it has slipped.
Confirm that you are using the correct model for the Rode VideoMic Pro. If it feels loose, ensure the elastic opening is properly seated over the rear of the microphone body.
To install, simply slide the Windjammer over the front foam windscreen of your Rode VideoMic Pro, ensuring the fit is snug and the fur is evenly distributed around the mic element. Compatibility is strictly limited to the Rode VideoMic Pro model. To maintain the effectiveness of the synthetic fur, gently brush the fur after use to prevent matting and store the unit in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use. If it gets damp, allow it to air dry completely before storing.
