Hook size depends on the size of the fly and the target fish. Consult your local fly shop or experienced anglers for recommendations.
Insert the hook into the tube fly and secure it with a hook retention method of your choosing (e.g. glue, heat shrink tubing, etc.)
Yes, but be sure to rinse it thoroughly after use to prevent corrosion.
Vary your retrieve speed and depth to find what the fish prefer. Experiment with slow, steady retrieves and faster, jerky movements.
Store the flies in a fly box to prevent damage and keep them organized.
The Fulling Mill Sunray Shadow Conehead Tube Fly is available in 1-inch and 1.5-inch sizes.
Ensure you're using the correct leader and tippet weight. Consider using a sinking leader or adding split shot if necessary.
Adjust your retrieval technique or switch to a hook with a weed guard. Consider using a different fly if snags are a continuous issue.
To use the Fulling Mill Sunray Shadow Conehead Tube Fly effectively, select the appropriate size for your fishing conditions. Attach the fly to your leader using a loop-to-loop connection or a suitable knot. Choose a hook size that complements the fly size and the target fish.
Care: After each fishing trip, rinse the flies with fresh water to remove any salt or debris. Store the flies in a fly box to protect them from damage and maintain their shape.
