Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Choose Location: Select a sturdy wall surface in your shed, garage, or workshop. Ensure the chosen spot can support the weight of the tools you intend to hang.
- Mark Placement: Hold the hook against the wall and mark the screw hole positions.
- Drill Pilot Holes (Recommended): For best results and easier installation, drill small pilot holes at the marked spots.
- Secure Hooks: Use appropriate screws (not included) and a screwdriver or drill to securely fasten the hooks to the wall. Ensure they are tightly attached.
Compatibility:
The hooks are compatible with most standard wall types, including wood, drywall (with appropriate anchors), and pegboard. They are suitable for hanging items with handles or loops, such as tools, cleaning supplies, sporting goods, and garden equipment.
Care:
To maintain the hooks, simply wipe them down with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the galvanised finish. For prolonged outdoor use, periodic checks for any signs of rust or corrosion are recommended, although the galvanised coating offers good protection.
