Setup, Compatibility & Care
Compatibility: This charger is compatible with all electric and hybrid vehicles equipped with a Type 2 charging port.
Setup:
- Ensure you have access to a suitable, properly installed, and grounded electrical outlet. For outdoor use, this outlet should be weatherproof.
- Connect the Type 2 connector firmly to your vehicle's charging port.
- Plug the charging cable's power connector into the electrical outlet.
- The LCD screen will illuminate, displaying the charging status. Follow on-screen prompts for any initial setup, such as language selection.
- To delay charging, use the controls on the unit to set your desired start time.
Care:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the unit and cable. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Ensure the unit is unplugged and dry before cleaning.
- Storage: When not in use, store the charger in a dry place, preferably in its original packaging or a protective bag, to prevent damage and protect against dust and moisture. The control box has an IP55 rating when not connected to a vehicle.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the cable, connectors, and control box for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Do not use the charger if any damage is found.
