It is recommended to give one chew per day for optimal dental benefits. Always follow your veterinarian's advice.
Are these chews suitable for puppies?
These dental chews are designed for adult dogs. Consult your veterinarian for appropriate dental care options for puppies.
What makes the texture special?
The chews have a special flexible texture and an open structure that allows a dog's teeth to penetrate deeply, effectively scraping the teeth clean.
Can these chews help with bad breath?
Yes, ingredients like Seaweed, Green Tea Extract, and Eucalyptus Oil are included to help reduce volatile sulphur components that cause bad breath.
What are the main ingredients for tartar control?
Sodium Hexametaphosphate is included to help prevent tartar by binding calcium in saliva, preventing the calcification of plaque.
Are there any artificial additives?
No, the treats contain no artificial colors or flavorings. They are made with natural antioxidants.
Where should I store the dental chews?
Store the chews in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, and ensure the packaging is sealed after opening.
Troubleshooting
Dog is not interested in the chew.
Try offering the chew at a time when your dog is naturally inclined to chew, such as after a meal or during playtime. Ensure the chews are fresh.
Dog chews through the treat too quickly.
While designed for long chewing, some dogs are faster chewers. Ensure the dog is supervised to maximize the cleaning benefit. For very fast chewers, consider a larger size if available and appropriate for the dog's breed.
Digestive upset after consumption.
Discontinue use if digestive upset occurs and consult your veterinarian. This may indicate a sensitivity to one of the ingredients. Ensure the dog has access to plenty of water.
