Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Measure and cut the carpet lining to the desired sections for your vehicle's interior panels.
- For optimal adhesion, clean the vehicle's interior surfaces thoroughly.
- Apply a suitable adhesive (not included) to the back of the lining or the vehicle panel. Professional spray adhesives or contact cements are often recommended.
- Carefully press the lining onto the surface, working from the center outwards to ensure a smooth, bubble-free finish. Use a roller or squeegee for best results.
- For the storage pouches, decide on their placement. They can be used loosely or attached using the integrated loops or by applying adhesive to the back of the pouch panel. Ensure they are securely fastened before use.
Compatibility:
This lining is designed to be versatile and adaptable to most van interiors, including cargo vans, panel vans, and camper van conversions. Its flexible nature allows it to conform to various shapes, including wheel arches, bulkheads, and door surrounds. The storage pouches are universally designed to fit alongside the lining.
Care:
To clean the carpet lining, use a damp cloth with mild detergent. For tougher stains, the material is bleachable, allowing for effective stain removal. Always ensure the lining is dry before re-entering the vehicle or storing items in the pouches. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the polypropylene fibers.
