Setup, Compatibility & Care
To prepare the trough for outdoor use, carefully drill drainage holes in the bottom corners using a standard household drill to prevent water stagnation. For indoor use, ensure the surface is protected by a waterproof saucer or tray if you choose to add drainage. Care is straightforward: wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth periodically to remove dirt or debris. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these may strip the protective finish. During extreme winter conditions, it is recommended to move the trough to a covered area to maximize its lifespan.
