Inspect the pedal mechanism for any obstructions or dirt. Clean the mechanism gently. Ensure the bin is on a level surface.
Bin exterior shows smudges or marks.
Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn marks, use a mild detergent diluted in water, then wipe clean and dry.
Bin liner doesn't fit well.
Ensure you are using a liner bag appropriate for a 40L bin. Adjust the bag around the rim, tucking excess material if needed for a secure fit.
