Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To set up your zinc trough planter, first decide on its final location, as it will be heavy once filled. Ensure the location can support the weight. If using outdoors, it is recommended to utilize the provided drainage holes to prevent waterlogging. The planter comes with a plug and drainage holes; remove the plug for outdoor use or when moisture control is critical. For indoor use, consider placing a tray underneath to catch any excess water, or use the plug to retain moisture.
Compatibility: This planter is suitable for a wide range of plants, including herbs, seasonal flowers, and taller varieties, provided the root depth is accommodated by the 50cm height. It can be used both indoors and outdoors. Ensure that any balcony or elevated surface can safely support the planter's full weight when filled.
Care: The Aluzinc material and powder-coated finish are designed for durability. Clean the planter periodically with a damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish. The powder-coated finish is hot-dipped and resistant to scratches from regular garden tasks, but care should still be taken during planting and maintenance. The color of the semi-reflective surface is designed to hold over many years with normal garden care.
