No, this induction hob requires a professional hardwired connection to your kitchen's electrical mains.
Only if the aluminum pans have a magnetic steel base specifically designed for induction cooking.
Consult the user manual for the specific button combination, usually involving holding the lock symbol for three seconds.
Induction hobs heat the cookware directly. The glass surface may become warm due to residual heat from the pan, but the zone itself does not heat up like a traditional ceramic hob.
The pause function lets you temporarily stop cooking at all active zones and resume at the previous settings when you are ready to return.
Check that the main power switch is on and that the child lock feature is not accidentally engaged.
Ensure your cookware is induction-compatible (magnetic base) and centered properly on the zone marking.
Ensure the surface is dry and clean; moisture or debris on the touch sensors can interfere with operation.
For optimal performance, ensure your cookware is made of ferromagnetic material—if a magnet sticks to the bottom of the pan, it will work with this hob. Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician, as this unit requires a hardwired connection. To maintain the glass ceramic surface, avoid dragging heavy pots across the top, which can cause scratches. Clean the surface after every use using a non-abrasive cream cleaner and a soft cloth to prevent the buildup of burnt-on residue. Avoid using steel wool or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
