No, the Rimmel Super Gel Nail Polish is designed to cure and harden naturally in daylight, eliminating the need for a UV or LED lamp.
The polish is formulated for long-lasting wear, offering a chip-resistant shine that can last for several days, depending on individual wear and care.
No base coat is needed. While not strictly required, a specific Rimmel Super Gel Top Coat is available and recommended to enhance shine and extend wear.
You can remove it using a standard acetone-based nail polish remover. Soak a cotton pad, press it onto the nail for a few seconds, and then wipe away the polish.
Apply the polish in thin, even coats. Ensure the brush is not overloaded and use smooth, sweeping strokes. Allow each coat to dry naturally before applying the next.
Yes, you can mix Rimmel Super Gel shades to create custom colors. Apply them in layers as you would with single shades.
Ensure nails are clean and free of oils. Apply polish in thin, even coats. Allow each coat to dry sufficiently before applying the next. Avoid overloading the brush.
Ensure the polish is exposed to natural daylight. Avoid applying excessively thick coats, as this can hinder drying. Try a different lighting environment.
Make sure to cap the free edge of your nail with each coat. Avoid using hands for strenuous activities immediately after application. Consider using the dedicated Rimmel Super Gel Top Coat.
Use an acetone-based nail polish remover. Soak the cotton pad for a longer duration on the nail before wiping. Gently buff the surface if stubborn areas remain.
Setup: Ensure nails are clean, dry, and free of oils or old polish before application. Apply one or two thin coats of the Rimmel Super Gel Nail Polish. Allow each coat to dry for at least 60 seconds in natural light. No base or top coat is required, though a specific Super Gel top coat can enhance shine and longevity.
Compatibility: This nail polish is compatible with most standard nail care products. For best results and longevity, using the Rimmel Super Gel Top Coat is recommended. It is not intended for use with UV/LED lamps.
Care: To maintain the finish, avoid prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals or abrasive activities. For removal, use a standard acetone-based nail polish remover. Soak a cotton ball, press it onto the nail for a few moments, and then wipe away the polish.
