Troubleshooting

Bowl feels excessively hot after microwave use

Stoneware retains heat efficiently; always use oven mitts when removing from the microwave.

Surface markings appear after use

Dark metal-like marks can sometimes occur from flatware; these can usually be removed with a mild ceramic cleaner or a paste of baking soda and water.

Pros and Cons

Versatile for both hot and cold food items
High chip resistance for daily wear and tear

Cons

Slight visual variations between individual pieces

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To keep your Stellar Mylor stoneware in peak condition, ensure you follow these basic care steps:

Cleaning: While the bowls are dishwasher safe, avoid using abrasive scouring pads that might dull the smooth interior glaze.
Temperature Shifts: Although oven-safe, avoid moving the bowl directly from a deep freeze to a hot oven to prevent thermal shock, which can crack stoneware.
Storage: When stacking, place a small protective napkin between bowls if you have a limited cupboard space to prevent scratches on the interior glazed surface.
Microwave Use: These bowls are safe for reheating; however, ensure the bowl is centered on the microwave turntable to prevent uneven heating of the stoneware.
