Full details
Lickimat Buddy is a boredom buster designed to enhance your pet's environment and benefit their health. Spread your pet's favourite soft treat over the surface to create a fun game, making them seek out every morsel. It can be frozen in summer for refreshing, longer-lasting entertainment and works well as a slow feeder for cats. Recommended by vets and animal behaviourists, it's a medically free way to promote calm behaviour in pets during stressful times or when left alone. Repetitive licking releases a calming hormone, and by making a small treat last longer, it prevents overfeeding. Licking enhances the sense of taste and helps promote fresh breath by scraping bacteria and undigested food from the tongue. Saliva production aids digestion and cleans the tongue, teeth, and gums. The Buddy design, with its cross maze, is perfect for trapping chunky treats like mushy meat or fish. Made from non-toxic, food-grade TPR, it measures 20 x 20 cm (Medium). It is suitable for puppies, small and medium dogs and is freezer safe, but hand washable. Always supervise your pet with the mat, especially for the first few uses, to ensure they do not chew it. Treat suggestions include yoghurt, peanut butter, cream cheese, pureed fruit/vegetables, baby food, canned fish, freeze-dried/raw food, or canned pet food. Ensure any food used does not contain Xylitol, as it is harmful to pets. Licking can also redirect habits, reduce anxiety and boredom, slow down eating, aid digestive health, and reduce crate training time. It is made from non-toxic food-grade rubber, free from Silicone, BPA, PVC, or Phthalates. Hand wash only, but it is microwave and freezer friendly.
