Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure proper installation, verify that your rim has 8.5 mm spoke holes. If you are reusing existing rims, inspect them for cracks around the nipple holes before proceeding. It is highly recommended to use a torque wrench to tighten the nipples to factory specifications to avoid over-tensioning. For care, use a non-abrasive metal cleaner during routine bike maintenance to keep the stainless steel in top condition. Always check spoke tension after the first ride following installation, as new spokes may 'settle' and require a minor adjustment to maintain perfect truing.
