FAQs
What is the best way to store the carbon paper?
Store the carbon paper in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent damage and ensure longevity.
Can I use this carbon paper on all types of fabric?
While suitable for most fabrics, it's recommended to test on a fabric scrap first to ensure the color transfers well and is suitable for your project.
What tools do I need to use this carbon paper?
You will need a smooth-edged tracing wheel to transfer the pattern onto the fabric.
How many sheets are included in each packet?
Each packet contains five sheets of carbon paper.
What colors are included in the packet?
The packet contains two sheets of white, and one sheet each of blue, red, and yellow.
What are the dimensions of each sheet?
Each sheet measures 23 x 28cm (9 x 11 inches).
Is the transfer permanent?
The transfer is not necessarily permanent, so it's advisable to test on a fabric scrap. The lines may fade over time or with washing.
Troubleshooting
Transfer lines are faint.
Apply more pressure with the tracing wheel. Ensure the carbon paper is making good contact with the fabric.
Color transfer is not visible on the fabric.
Check that the correct color carbon paper is being used for the fabric's color. Make sure the carbon paper is face down (color side touching the fabric).
The pattern lines are smudging.
Use a lighter touch with the tracing wheel. Avoid excessive handling of the fabric after transfer.
