The Palm Spas P1 Hot Tub Cover Lifter is an essential accessory for spa owners who want to protect their investment and simplify their daily hot tub routine. Designed for users who prioritize longevity and ease of use, this lifter keeps your heavy cover off the ground and prevents premature wear, though it requires sufficient clearance space behind the spa to function effectively.

The P1 is designed primarily for square or rectangular spas up to 2300mm x 2300mm and may not be compatible with circular models.
While one person can install it, having a second person to help hold the cover in place during the bracket alignment makes the process much easier.
Yes, the non-corrosive composite brackets are suitable for most spa cabinet materials, including wood, synthetic, and plastic.
We recommend a minimum of 500mm of clearance space behind your spa to allow the cover to fold down properly.
Please check your original purchase documentation or contact Palm Spas customer support for specific warranty duration and coverage details.
Check the alignment of the pivot points and ensure the mounting brackets are perfectly level on both sides.
Adjust the tension of the center crossbar and ensure it is fully extended and locked into place.
Inspect the mounting screws for corrosion and retighten them. If the cabinet wood is stripped, use a slightly larger screw or an anchor.
Installation of the P1 lifter requires basic hand tools. First, ensure you have at least 500mm of clearance behind your hot tub to allow the cover to sit in the stored position. Attach the composite mounting brackets to the sides of your spa cabinet according to the provided instructions, ensuring they are level. Once the brackets are set, assemble the aluminium support arms and the center crossbar, sliding them through the cover hinge if applicable.
To maintain the product, periodically rinse the aluminium tubes with fresh water to remove any chemical residue or salt spray. Check the mounting screws every six months to ensure they remain tight and have not loosened due to thermal expansion and contraction of the cabinet material.
