The KM Elite 6ft Leadrope is designed for horse owners and handlers who require a reliable, high-strength tool for everyday stable, yard, and paddock management. Its primary benefit lies in its exceptional durability and heavy-duty hardware, providing peace of mind during transit or leading; however, users should note that the stiff poly construction may feel less supple than traditional cotton leads initially.

While strong, it is recommended to use specific quick-release knots when tying. Always ensure your horse is supervised while tied.
The high-quality dye used in the polyester fibers is resistant to UV degradation and will maintain its vibrancy through regular use.
It is recommended to hand wash the rope in a bucket. If you must machine wash it, place it inside a laundry bag to prevent the brass hook from damaging your machine drum.
The lead measures 6 feet, which is approximately 183 cm.
Brass is highly resistant to corrosion, though it may develop a natural patina over time if left in wet, salty, or acidic environments.
Apply a small amount of silicone spray or light machine oil to the spring mechanism and cycle the trigger several times to loosen debris.
Soak the rope in a bucket of warm water with mild detergent to soften the fibers and remove any crystallized dirt.
To use the lead, simply attach the brass snap hook to the bottom ring of your horse’s headcollar. The lead is compatible with all standard headcollars and halters.
Care instructions are straightforward: because the rope is made of durable polyester, you do not need to worry about shrinkage or rotting. To clean, simply submerge in a bucket of warm soapy water and scrub away any dried mud or debris. Once cleaned, hang the rope in a well-ventilated area to air dry; the synthetic fibers will dry completely within a short period, ready for the next use. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could degrade the brass plating on the snap hook over time.
