Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The watch typically arrives with the crown pulled out to the 'stop' position to conserve battery. To set the time and date, gently push the crown in one position and turn it. For chronograph functions, familiarize yourself with the pushers – usually, the top pusher starts/stops the chronograph, and the bottom pusher resets it.
Compatibility: This is a standalone analog watch and does not require compatibility with other devices.
Care:
- Strap: The blue leather strap should be kept dry as much as possible to prevent damage and staining. Clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Case and Crystal: Wipe the watch case and mineral crystal with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn smudges on the crystal, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying.
- Water Resistance: While rated for 10 ATM, it's advisable to rinse the watch with fresh water and dry it thoroughly after exposure to salt water or chlorine. Ensure the crown is pushed in before exposure to water.
- Battery: The quartz movement is powered by a battery. Replacement should be done by a qualified watchmaker to maintain water resistance.
