The Ulanzi MT88 Compact Travel Tripod is a versatile, lightweight mounting solution designed for vloggers, action sports enthusiasts, and outdoor content creators who need a reliable way to capture stable footage in unconventional environments. Featuring a unique Velcro strap system and a universal 1/4-inch screw mount, it allows users to secure cameras to poles, tree branches, or railings with ease; however, users should be aware that the tripod's stability is dependent on the structural integrity of the object to which it is attached.

No, the MT88 is designed primarily for lightweight action cameras, vlogging cameras, and compact gimbals.
The strap is an integrated part of the design; regular cleaning of the hook-and-loop material will help extend its service life.
Yes, the universal 1/4-inch screw mount is fully compatible with the DJI Pocket 3.
While the materials are durable, it is recommended to dry the tripod thoroughly after exposure to water to prevent long-term degradation.
It is optimized for small, lightweight cameras; avoid mounting devices that exceed the weight capacity of common action cameras.
Ensure the Velcro strap is pulled as tightly as possible and that the anchor object is not wider than the strap can safely secure.
Check that the screw is tightened fully against the camera base; if it remains loose, ensure no debris is blocking the thread.
To set up the MT88, simply align the 1/4-inch screw with your camera's mounting port and rotate the base until firm. When using the strap system, wrap the Velcro tightly around your chosen anchor point, ensuring the contact patch is flat to maximize grip. The MT88 is compatible with the DJI Pocket 3, Insta360 X5, DJI Osmo Action series, and most small-format cameras with a standard tripod thread. To maintain the unit, wipe the device with a dry cloth after outdoor use to remove dust or grit, and ensure the Velcro straps are kept clean to maintain their adhesive strength over time.
