Setup, Compatibility & Care
When installing the fuel tube, ensure that all connections are secured with appropriate worm-gear or fuel-injection style clamps. Do not overtighten clamps, as this can cut the outer synthetic layer. Before routing, measure the path of your fuel system to avoid sharp bends that could cause the tube to kink or collapse. For maintenance, regularly inspect the hose for signs of cracking, hardening, or seepage, especially near the connection points. If you are replacing an existing hose, confirm the inner diameter of your existing fittings matches the hose size, as loose fittings can lead to significant fuel leaks.
