Troubleshooting

Drone won't power on

Ensure the battery is correctly inserted and charged. Press and hold the power button for a few seconds. If the issue persists, try a different fully charged battery.

App connection issues

Verify your smartphone is connected to the DJI RC-N3 controller's Wi-Fi. Ensure the DJI Fly app is up to date. Restart the app, controller, and drone. Check for firmware updates.

Poor GPS signal / Calibration required

Fly to an open area away from tall buildings or interference. Follow the on-screen prompts in the DJI Fly app to calibrate the compass and IMU when requested.

Unstable flight or drifting

Check for strong winds. Ensure propellers are securely attached and undamaged. Perform an IMU calibration through the DJI Fly app. Ensure the drone is on a level surface for takeoff.

Camera feed is laggy or frozen

Ensure your smartphone meets the minimum requirements for the DJI Fly app. Close other background applications on your phone. Check the signal strength between the controller and the drone. Consider reducing video transmission quality settings in the app if needed.

ActiveTrack not locking onto subject

Ensure the subject is clearly visible and contrasts well with the background. Maintain adequate distance and speed. Update the drone's firmware and ensure the subject is within the camera's field of view and tracking range.
