FAQs
Can I use this bin without the inner bucket?
While the bin functions physically without the bucket, we recommend using it for easier cleaning and waste containment.
What are the exact dimensions?
The unit measures 29.2 cm in height, 21.6 cm in width, and 29.6 cm in depth, including the pedal.
Is the exterior fingerprint-resistant?
The ink black finish is easy to clean, though it may show prints more than lighter colours; a simple wipe with a soft cloth will keep it looking new.
Does it come with bin liners?
No, bin liners are not included. You can use standard small bin bags that fit a 6-litre capacity.
Is the bin waterproof?
The bin is designed for bathroom environments and resists moisture well, but it should not be submerged in water.
Does the pedal mechanism require assembly?
No, the bin arrives ready to use right out of the box.
Troubleshooting
The lid does not close softly.
Check the hinge mechanism for any debris and ensure the lid is properly aligned with the base.
The pedal feels stiff or does not open the lid fully.
Ensure the bin is sitting on a flat surface and that there is no obstruction at the base or under the pedal mechanism.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Quiet soft-close lid prevents slamming noises
- Removable inner bucket allows for quick and clean waste disposal
- Compact footprint fits easily in tight corners or next to small toilets
- Hands-free pedal operation improves bathroom hygiene
Cons
- 6-litre capacity requires frequent emptying if used for bulky waste
- Small size is not suitable for kitchen or large household waste
- Exterior surface may show dust or fingerprints due to the black finish
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the bin is straightforward: place it on a flat, level floor to ensure the pedal functions correctly. To maintain the finish, wipe the exterior periodically with a damp, soft cloth followed by a dry cloth to prevent water spots. Avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals that could scratch or dull the ink black coating. If the inner bucket becomes soiled, remove it from the outer shell, wash it with mild soap and water, and ensure it is completely dry before placing it back into the frame.
