Ideal for the professional user, combining high strength with excellent slip and pattern matching characteristics, this adhesive is suitable for all paper types including heavyweight, washable, vinyl, and blown vinyl. Surface Preparation: Ensure surface is clean, dry and free from dust. Treat areas where there is a high risk of mould growth with Bartoline Fungicidal Wash. Mixing: Add the correct volume of cold water to a clean bucket. Sprinkle the contents of the sachet into the water and stir briskly for 30 seconds to evenly mix. Leave to stand for 3 minutes then stir again thoroughly. Pasting: Follow the wallpaper manufacturer's instructions. Soak heavy and embossed paper until supple. Paste generously, particularly the edges, and do not overspread. For 'paste the wall' wallpapers, apply paste directly onto the wall-surface. Cleaning and Storage: All tools and equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after use. Store in a dry place keeping sachet closed.
The Bartoline All Purpose Wallpaper Adhesive is designed for professional decorators and DIY enthusiasts who require a high-strength, consistent bonding solution for various wallcoverings including vinyl and heavyweight papers. Its primary benefit is the excellent slip, allowing for precise pattern matching before the adhesive sets firmly; however, users should note that it requires a specific mixing process and resting period to reach optimal consistency.
