FAQs

Does this product include the awning frame?

No, this product is a replacement fabric only. The awning frame is not included.

What are the exact dimensions of the fabric?

The actual awning fabric measures 380 cm in length and 345 cm in width.

What size awning frame is this fabric suitable for?

This fabric is designed for awning frames that are approximately 4 meters wide and have a 3.5-meter projection.

Is the yellow color resistant to fading?

The fabric is made of UV-resistant polyester, which helps to resist fading, but prolonged exposure to intense sunlight may eventually cause some color change.

Can I use this fabric in heavy rain?

The fabric has a PU coating that makes it water-repellent, suitable for light rain. For heavy or prolonged rain, it is advisable to retract the awning.

How should I clean the fabric?

Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap solution. Avoid harsh chemicals. Ensure it is fully dry before retracting.

What is included with this purchase?

You will receive the main awning fabric and one valance. The frame is not included.

Troubleshooting

Fabric does not fit frame.

Verify that your awning frame matches the specified dimensions (4 x 3.5 m). Ensure the fabric is oriented correctly and is not twisted.

Fabric appears loose or uneven.

Readjust the tension of the fabric on the frame. Ensure all mounting points are secure and evenly distributed.

Mildew spots appear on fabric.

Clean affected areas with a mild soap and water solution. Ensure the fabric is thoroughly dried before retracting or storing.

Water is not repelling effectively.

Check for any damage to the PU coating or seams. For minor issues, a fabric waterproofing spray might help. Ensure the fabric is taut, as pooling water reduces repellency.
