The Premier Garden Supplies Flat Top Square Trellis is designed for homeowners and gardeners seeking to extend fence height or create vertical interest for climbing plants. Offering a durable, pressure-treated timber construction, it serves as an excellent privacy screen or structural support for vines. While the robust design provides longevity, users should ensure their existing fence posts are capable of supporting the additional weight of the trellis panels.

Yes, you can trim the panels to size using a hand saw or circular saw. Remember to treat any cut ends with a wood preservative to maintain the pressure-treated integrity.
Yes, the sturdy 48mm frame and durable timber construction are designed to support vines and climbing plants like ivy or jasmine.
The squares are designed with a spacing between 60mm and 70mm, providing a consistent aesthetic and support structure.
No, these are designed to be used primarily with existing slotted fence posts. If mounting to a wall, you will need to purchase appropriate wall-mounting brackets separately.
No, the timber is pressure-treated with Tanalith E, which usually leaves a natural greenish tint that fades to a silvery grey over time. You can paint or stain them to your preference.
Yes, provided the concrete posts have the standard slotted channels to accommodate 48mm thick panels.
Check if the post slot has debris or if the timber has swollen due to recent moisture; lightly sand the side edges of the trellis frame if necessary.
Splitting in rough-sawn timber is common due to expansion; apply a wood filler or external-grade sealant if the structural integrity is compromised.
Installation is straightforward due to the 48mm thickness designed specifically for standard slotted posts. If you are mounting these against a wall, pilot-drill the timber before using exterior-grade screws to prevent splitting. While the Tanalith E treatment offers significant protection, we recommend applying a water-repellent wood stain or preservative every 2-3 years to maintain the color and further extend the lifespan of the panels. Always inspect the fence posts before installation to confirm they can handle the additional wind load and weight the toppers will introduce.
