Depending on the level of use, even ultra-sharp knives become dull over time and do not cut as well as they did at the beginning. In such cases, it's useful to have the practical ZWILLING sharpening stone. Measuring 20 x 8.5 cm and 4 cm thick, it is exactly what is required to get dulled blades – with or without serrated edges – sharp again. One side, with a coarser grain (250), is intended for the so-called preliminary honing, the finer side (1000) is for the final smoothing of the blade. You'll soon be expert in knife sharpening. Simply pull the knife blade over the handy stone a few times and your favourite knife will once again be ready for precisely cutting vegetables, herbs, salads, meat, poultry and fish. Achieves optimum sharpness. Two different sides – grain 250 for rough, preliminary honing. Two different sides – grain 1000 for smoothing, final honing. Grain 1000 for smooth fine honing.
