The Hape Smart Start ABC Blocks are a 10-piece wooden building set specifically designed for infants and toddlers between 6 and 12 months old. These blocks are perfect for supporting early motor skill development and tactile exploration through a combination of wood and noise-dampening silicone. While they offer excellent durability and developmental benefits, the set is limited to 10 pieces, which may restrict large-scale construction as the child grows older.

Yes, Hape products are designed with child-safe materials, including high-quality wood and non-toxic silicone.
Use a slightly damp cloth to wipe the silicone edges, then dry immediately with a clean, dry cloth.
Ensure the blocks are completely dry before use, as moisture can make the silicone coating appear slick.
Setup is minimal as the blocks arrive ready for play directly from the box. To maintain the longevity of the wood and silicone components, simply wipe the blocks clean with a damp, soft cloth. Do not submerge them in water or use harsh chemical cleaners, as this may degrade the wooden components or damage the color finish. Store the set in a dry place to prevent moisture buildup in the wood. These blocks are compatible with other Hape Grip-n-Stack series products, allowing for potential expansion of the set over time.
