Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure your belt sander is unplugged.
- Open the belt tension release lever.
- Remove the old sanding belt.
- Place the new belt onto the pulleys, ensuring the grit side is facing outwards.
- Close the tension release lever to apply proper tension.
- Plug in the sander and run it briefly to ensure the belt tracks correctly. Adjust tracking if necessary according to your sander's manual.
Compatibility:
These belts are specifically designed for belt sanders requiring a 25mm x 762mm belt. They are compatible with the Loops Model No. Belt & Disc Sanders and are engineered to fit many other leading brands. Always verify your sander's belt size requirement before purchasing.
Care:
- Avoid excessive pressure, which can overheat the belt and reduce its lifespan.
- Clean dust and debris from the belt and pulleys regularly.
- Store belts in a dry environment to prevent degradation of the adhesive and abrasive material.
