Full details
This budget-friendly self-adhesive vinyl wrap is perfect for updating surfaces in your home, offering a quick and easy DIY solution. Each roll measures 67.5cm x 2m, and you'll receive a pack of 3. It's ideal for covering worktops, kitchen doors, drawers, and furniture, transforming them into stylish new features. The vinyl is heat resistant up to 75°C and durable for easy cleaning. It's also non-permanent and completely removable, making it a great choice for tenants or landlords. Application is straightforward: use a dc fix application kit for smooth application and cutting. For worktops, overlap the vinyl slightly to account for shrinkage. You can carefully apply it around sinks, cutting out the excess. A handy grid on the backing paper serves as a cutting guide. For tricky surfaces like glass or appliances, a light spray of water can help with positioning. Curved surfaces can be handled with a hairdryer to make the vinyl more pliable. Aftercare involves using silicone sealant around sinks and hobs for water tightness, and wiping clean with regular household cleaner; avoid scrubbing and wipe stains immediately. Do not use sharp objects directly on the vinyl; always use worktop savers. While heat resistant to 75°C, keep hot pans at least 12 inches away from naked flames. Manufactured in Germany, dc fix vinyl boasts a 5-star rating for adhesion, opacity, lightfastness, shrinkage, and durability. Its water-based, low-tack adhesive allows for repositioning during application and fully bonds within 24 hours. Removal is simple with heat from a hairdryer. The authentic designs mean you'll hardly believe it's a vinyl film, saving you the cost of buying new items.
