The Stabilo Boss Original Chisel Tip Highlighters, a pack of 4, are designed for students, professionals, and anyone needing to mark important text. Their key benefit is the versatile chisel tip that allows for both broad highlighting and fine underlining, combined with a generous writing length and anti-dry out technology. A minor caveat is the water-based ink, which may not be ideal for very glossy or non-absorbent surfaces.

These highlighters use a universal, water-based ink.
The Stabilo Boss Original highlighters feature anti-dry out ink technology, allowing them to be left uncapped for up to 4 hours.
The chisel tip can create a broad highlight of approximately 5mm and a fine underline of approximately 2mm.
The ink is designed for highlighting and general use. While durable for typical applications, they are not specifically rated for archival or extreme lightfastness.
They are designed for most paper types. However, performance on specialized surfaces like glossy prints, photocopies, or thermal paper can vary and may result in smudging or poor adhesion.
Each highlighter in the pack has a writing length of 375 meters.
It is recommended to store the highlighters horizontally or with the tip facing downwards to ensure optimal ink flow.
Ensure the cap was properly replaced. Check if the highlighter has been left uncapped for an extended period beyond the 4-hour anti-dry out limit. If ink flow is slow, try storing the highlighter tip-down for a few hours.
This is more common with very thin paper types. Try using a thicker paper or placing a spare sheet of paper underneath the page you are highlighting.
Avoid pressing too hard on the paper. If the tip is damaged, it may be difficult to achieve clean lines. Ensure you are using the highlighter on appropriate paper surfaces.
Setup:
These highlighters require no setup. Simply remove the cap and begin using.
