The Lorus RG242YX9 is an ideal timepiece for individuals seeking a blend of classic elegance and vibrant, modern aesthetics. Its primary benefit is the combination of a sophisticated rectangular gold-plated case with a striking deep green dial and leather strap, making it a versatile accessory for both formal and casual settings. A key caveat to consider is that while it features a water resistance rating of 50 meters, the genuine leather strap is not intended for prolonged exposure to water or swimming, which may degrade the material over time.

No. While the watch is rated for 50-meter water resistance, this covers light splashes and rain. The leather strap will be damaged by immersion in water.
Depending on usage, quartz batteries typically last between 18 to 36 months.
No, the watch uses high-quality decorative crystals to achieve a jewelry-inspired look.
Yes, the strap can be replaced by a professional watchmaker if it wears out over time.
The watch features mineral crystal glass, which is chosen for its durability and clarity.
The battery is likely depleted. Take the watch to a certified watchmaker to have the quartz battery replaced.
Ensure the crown is fully pushed in. If the issue persists, the battery may be reaching the end of its life.
New leather often feels stiff; it will soften and contour to your wrist comfortably after a few days of consistent wear.
Setting up your Lorus watch is straightforward. To set the time, gently pull the crown located on the side of the case outward to the first click, rotate it until the correct time is reached, and push it back in until it is flush with the case.
For ongoing care, keep the leather strap clean by wiping it with a dry, soft cloth after use to remove sweat or dirt. Avoid contact with perfumes, oils, or cleaning agents, as these can stain the leather and tarnish the gold plating. Store the watch in a cool, dry place when not in use. Periodically check the mineral crystal for any smudge marks and clean it with a microfiber cloth to maintain the watch's brilliance.
