Yes, the flexible material can follow gentle slopes, though you may need extra securing pegs if the incline is steep.
Yes, the rubber construction is non-toxic and durable, making it safe for general garden environments.
The product is manufactured from UV-resistant materials, which are designed to resist fading even after extended exposure to sunlight.
A rubber mallet is recommended for driving the pegs into the ground, but no specialized professional landscaping tools are required.
Yes, the rubber material can be trimmed using a standard fine-tooth saw or heavy-duty cutting shears if you need to finish at a specific point.
The profile is designed to be low-profile and lawnmower-friendly, sitting just high enough to define the border without obstructing maintenance equipment.
Ensure the ground pegs are driven fully into the soil and the ground is adequately compacted around the base.
Warm the rubber slightly in the sun before installation, which increases its flexibility and makes it easier to shape.
Check that the sections are aligned perfectly and pushed firmly together before inserting the locking pins to ensure a snug fit.
Installation is straightforward: prepare the area by clearing away debris and ensuring the soil is clear of large rocks. Place the sections along your intended path and secure them using the provided plastic nails and pins. The hidden connecting pins ensure that joints are not visible, creating a continuous border effect. For care, this edging is low maintenance; however, it is recommended to periodically check that the pegs remain firmly seated in the soil, especially after extreme freeze-thaw cycles or heavy rainfall. Should the surface become dusty or covered in soil, a quick wash with a garden hose is all that is required to restore the original appearance.
