FAQs

Will this fit all 2-man bivvies?

It is designed to fit most standard 1.5 and 2-man bivvy systems, but please measure your folded bivvy to ensure it fits within the 150cm x 30cm x 30cm dimensions.

Can I wash the bag in a washing machine?

It is not recommended. Use a damp cloth and mild soap to wipe down the exterior and the waterproof base.

Is the material fully waterproof?

The base is made from waterproof PVC, and the 600D fabric is highly weather-resistant, offering excellent protection against rain.

Does it come with a warranty?

Please check with your specific retailer or Cult Tackle regarding the warranty duration for this product.

Can I store my banksticks inside?

While the bag is primarily for bivvies, you can store banksticks inside, but ensure they do not pierce the fabric during transit.

Troubleshooting

Zip feels difficult to operate

Check for trapped fabric in the teeth and ensure the contents are not over-stuffed; clean the zip track with a soft brush.

Bag is too heavy to carry comfortably

Adjust the padded shoulder strap to distribute weight more evenly, or use the dual-neoprene carry handles for a two-handed grip.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Extremely durable 600D fabric construction
Waterproof base protects gear from damp ground
Multiple handle configurations make transport easy
Large opening simplifies packing bulky bivvies
Reinforced stitching prevents seams from bursting under weight

Cons

Large dimensions may not fit in compact car boots
Single color/pattern option (DPM camo)
No external pockets for extra pegs or accessories

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To use, place your dried or mud-free bivvy into the bag while it is fully unzipped to prevent stress on the teeth. Once loaded, ensure the zips are fully closed to prevent debris from entering. Compatibility is broad, covering most 1.5 to 2-man bivvy systems on the market due to the 150cm length. To clean, simply wipe the PVC base with a damp cloth or sponge. Avoid storing the bivvy while wet for extended periods to prevent mildew growth within the fabric. If the zips become stiff due to debris, wipe the tracks with a dry brush to remove grit.
