No, this specific seat cover is designed exclusively for the Yamaha YZF450 model years 2023-2025.
The seat cover is made from a special material with a rubbery consistency that provides exceptional grip, preventing the rider from sliding during acceleration, braking, or cornering.
While the seat cover is designed for easy application, professional installation is recommended if you are not comfortable using a staple gun or ensuring a precise fit.
The seat cover is made with excellent wear resistance, designed for durability. Lifespan can vary based on riding frequency and conditions, but it is built to withstand demanding use.
It is not recommended to use a pressure washer, as high-pressure water can potentially damage the material or dislodge staples. A damp cloth and mild soap are the preferred cleaning methods.
Yes, while detailed instructions are provided in this guide, the product is designed with pre-shaped parts to facilitate application based on the seat's contour.
Ensure the seat foam is clean and dry before installation. Re-align the cover, focusing on the pre-shaped sections, and re-staple, working from the center outwards. Ensure even tension during stapling.
Check for dirt, mud, or oil on the seat cover surface, as these can reduce grip. Clean the seat cover with a damp cloth and mild soap.
Use a high-quality staple gun and ensure staples are not too large or being forced in at an extreme angle. Avoid over-stretching the material when stapling.
