FAQs

How do I download new maps to my COROS PACE Pro?

You can download maps via the COROS app on your smartphone. Navigate to the 'Device' section, select 'Map Management', and choose the regions you wish to download. Ensure your watch is connected to Wi-Fi for the download process.

What is the difference between 'All Systems' and 'Dual-Frequency' GPS modes?

'All Systems' uses multiple satellite constellations simultaneously. 'Dual-Frequency' utilizes more satellite signals on two different frequencies, offering superior accuracy in challenging environments like urban canyons or dense forests, but may consume slightly more battery.

Can I customize the watch face?

Yes, you can customize watch faces through the COROS app. You can choose from pre-loaded options or design your own, selecting which data metrics are displayed.

How long does the battery typically last in daily use?

In daily use, the COROS PACE Pro can last up to 20 days on a single charge. This includes standard smartwatch features like notifications and continuous heart rate monitoring.

Is the watch compatible with third-party heart rate monitors?

Yes, the COROS PACE Pro supports ANT+ and Bluetooth connections, allowing it to pair with compatible external heart rate monitors and other cycling power meters or sensors.

How do I perform a factory reset?

On the watch, navigate to System > System Settings > Reset. You will be prompted to confirm. Note that this will erase all data and settings from the watch.

What is the warranty period for the COROS PACE Pro?

COROS typically offers a 2-year warranty for their watches, covering manufacturing defects. Please refer to the official COROS warranty documentation for specific details and terms.

Troubleshooting

Watch not charging

Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the watch and a powered USB source. Clean the charging contacts on the watch and cable. Try a different USB port or power adapter.

GPS signal is weak or inaccurate

Ensure you have a clear view of the sky. Go to Settings > System Settings > GPS Mode and select 'All Systems' or 'Dual Frequency' for maximum accuracy. Make sure the watch firmware and maps are up to date.

Watch not syncing with the COROS app

Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the watch is within range. Restart both your watch and your smartphone. Try unpairing and re-pairing the watch in the COROS app.

Display is unresponsive

Perform a soft reset by holding down the power button until the watch restarts. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset via the watch's settings menu (this will erase all data).

Heart rate data seems incorrect

Ensure the watch is worn snugly on your wrist, about one finger's width above your wrist bone. Clean the optical heart rate sensor on the back of the watch. Avoid excessive hair or lotions on your wrist.
