Designed for DIY enthusiasts and professional contractors, these Ecoscape colour-coded screws provide a secure, visually integrated fastening solution for composite decking and cladding installations. These 63mm silver fasteners offer excellent corrosion resistance and blend seamlessly into modern composite materials, though users should be aware that a specific No.2 Square Bit is required for installation and must be sourced separately.

No, the No.2 Square Bit is not included and should be purchased separately for optimal installation.
These screws are specifically engineered for composite materials and may not provide the necessary holding power for heavy-duty timber.
They feature high corrosion resistance suitable for outdoor use, but should be inspected periodically in harsh coastal environments.
Each pack contains 50 individual screws.
These screws are 63mm long.
Ensure you are using a genuine No.2 Square Bit and not a Phillips head screwdriver, which can cause cam-out.
Check if the sub-frame material is too dense; consider pre-drilling a pilot hole slightly smaller than the screw diameter.
Adjust the torque setting on your drill to a lower level and ensure you are driving the screw at a 90-degree angle.
To set up these screws, ensure you have a standard power drill and a No.2 Square Bit, which must be purchased separately. Before starting your installation, verify that the sub-frame is level and the joist spacing meets the composite manufacturer's requirements.
Care instructions are straightforward: avoid using impact drivers with excessive torque, as this may strip the screw head or damage the composite surface. After initial installation, perform a visual check after one season to ensure no screws have backed out due to natural board expansion or contraction cycles.
