This Centoco toilet seat is designed specifically for regular round toilet bowls. It is not compatible with elongated bowls.

The "SAFETY CLOSE" feature utilizes a specially designed hinge mechanism that controls the speed of the seat and lid. With a gentle push, it slowly and quietly lowers itself without slamming.

The "SAFETY CLOSE" feature is a mechanical function integrated into the hinge system. It does not require batteries or electricity.

Clean the seat with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap or a non-abrasive household cleaner. Avoid using abrasive materials, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can scratch or damage the high-gloss finish.

The bumpers on this model are integrally-molded, meaning they are permanently part of the seat construction and are designed not to loosen, collect dirt, or fall off. They are not designed to be individually replaced.

Ensure the seat is properly aligned and that no objects are obstructing its closing path. Check that the hinges are securely tightened, as looseness can affect the closing mechanism.

Verify that all mounting hardware (nuts and bolts) underneath the bowl are securely tightened. Ensure the integrally-molded bumpers are making full contact with the bowl rim.

Confirm you are working with a round toilet bowl. Ensure the hardware is correctly inserted through the hinges and aligned with the bolt holes on the toilet bowl. Consult the included installation diagram if necessary.

Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Clean with a soft cloth and mild soap. Minor scuffs may be buffed out with a plastic polish, but deep scratches may be permanent.
