Setup, Compatibility & Care
This tool requires no assembly and is ready for use immediately upon unboxing. It is compatible with most standard residential and commercial stone, brick, and concrete paving patterns.
To ensure the longevity of your patio knife:
- Clean after use: Remove any caked-on soil or organic debris from the blade using a stiff brush or damp cloth to prevent corrosion.
- Store in dry conditions: Although the blade is rust-resistant, storing the tool in a dry shed or garage will protect the wooden handle from rot.
- Maintain the handle: Periodically apply a light coat of linseed oil to the ash handle to prevent the wood from drying out or splintering.
- Inspect for damage: Regularly check the connection point between the blade and handle to ensure it remains secure.
