Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the stand is straightforward. Ensure the base legs are fully locked into position before mounting a bicycle. When clamping, always ensure the clamp is tightened securely but not over-torqued, particularly on delicate carbon fiber frames.
Compatibility: The stand works with frame tubes between 1 and 2.2 inches. For odd-shaped or non-standard frame geometries, ensure the clamp grips a section of the frame that allows for secure stabilization.
Care: To keep the stand in top condition, wipe down the clamp jaws after each use to remove grease or debris. Periodically check the tension knobs and joints, applying a light machine oil if they become stiff. The rust-resistant coating can be cleaned with a damp cloth; avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbing pads.
