This product is specifically formulated for metal surfaces; it is not recommended for wood or plastic.
While drying time can vary based on humidity and temperature, it is typically touch-dry within 30 minutes, but allow for full curing before applying a topcoat.
For best results, remove all loose or flaking rust with a wire brush or sandpaper; the primer works best on a clean, solid base.
It is recommended to apply this primer in temperatures above 10 degrees Celsius for optimal flow and curing.
It is compatible with most standard oil-based and acrylic metal paints; perform a small test patch first.
Invert the can and press the nozzle for 2-3 seconds to clear the path, or remove the nozzle and soak it in paint thinner.
Apply thinner coats and increase the distance between the nozzle and the object surface.
Ensure the surface was adequately cleaned and degreased before application, as residue prevents proper bonding.
Before application, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from grease or loose flakes. Shake the aerosol can vigorously for at least two minutes to ensure the graphene particles are well-distributed. Hold the nozzle 20-30cm from the surface and spray in steady, consistent motions. Store cans in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once finished, invert the can and spray for a few seconds to clear the nozzle and prevent clogging.
