Do I need to own the Numberblocks toys to use this?

No, the books are designed to be standalone educational tools and do not require any other toys or technology to function.

Are the books all the same story?

No, the collection includes 24 unique books, each focusing on different Numberblocks characters and math activities.

Can the calendar be reused next year?

Troubleshooting

Compartment is difficult to open

Ensure the perforation is fully pressed; if it sticks, gently slide a butter knife or letter opener along the seam to break the seal.

Book page feels stuck to the packaging

Gently pull the spine of the book rather than the pages to slide it out from the slot.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Encourages a daily reading habit during the holiday season
Reinforces math concepts using familiar, friendly characters
High-quality illustrations that align with the TV show's aesthetic
Engaging interactive experience for young learners

Cons

Not intended for long-term daily reuse once the season concludes
Books are sized for children and may have thin, disposable-style covers
Requires a designated spot for 24 individual books

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up the advent calendar, ensure it is placed on a flat, stable surface such as a table or a low shelf within reach of the child. When opening the compartments, encourage the child to press gently on the perforated tabs to avoid tearing the surrounding cardboard. The books should be kept in a dry area away from direct moisture. If a page becomes dusty, use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to wipe it clean. Avoid using liquid cleaners or heavy pressure on the book bindings, as the materials are designed for portability rather than archival storage.
