This solid pair of handcrafted door knobs are popular for their weight and simplicity. The unlaquered brass achieves a timeless elegance, highly polished on all surface areas but aged to highlight the detail and design. These knobs will tarnish in time as part of the ageing process but can be polished time and time again if you want to achieve a more contemporary finish. Our decorative Prestbury mortice/rim knob sets take inspiration from classic Georgian designs, making them well suited to period properties. Our Prestbury knob sets are forged from solid brass and hand finished by our expert craftsmen. A perfect design choice for any home, with many matching products available. Designed to match the products in our Prestbury range to create consistency throughout your home. Suitable for use with a multitude of heavy duty locks, latches, and thumbturns for various purposes. The strength of the spring used in our heavy-duty lock/latches will ensure the knob returns to its original position. We recommend using a 3", 4", or 5" latch/lock. Supplied with matching SS wood screws. Our Aged Brass products are made from solid, unlacquered brass and are intentionally tarnished using an accelerated ageing process that causes a dark patina to gather around the edges and recesses of the design. This rich colour offers a beautiful contrast against the repolished surface areas, offering an abundance of charm and character perfect for any period dwelling.
