Getting your Fimous Rattan Dining Set ready and maintaining it properly ensures long-lasting enjoyment.
Setup Instructions
- Unpack Components: Carefully unbox all parts of the chairs and table. Lay them out and check against the included instructions (Info needed: confirm instruction manual is included) to ensure all pieces are present.
- Assemble Chairs: Follow the step-by-step instructions to assemble each chair. Typically, this involves attaching the seat, backrest, and legs using the provided hardware.
- Assemble Table: Construct the table by attaching the legs to the table frame and then carefully placing the tempered glass top into position. Ensure the glass is seated securely.
- Tighten All Fasteners: Once assembled, go back and ensure all screws and bolts are securely tightened. Do not overtighten, but make sure there is no wobbling.
- Place Cushions: Position the 8 cm base cushions onto the chairs.
Compatibility
- Outdoor Spaces: This set is designed for outdoor use, ideal for balconies, small patios, decks, gardens, and conservatories.
- Space Requirements: Given the chair dimensions (75 W * 65 D * 88 H cm) and table dimensions (60W * 70H cm), ensure you have adequate space for comfortable movement around the set.
Care & Maintenance
- Cushion Protection: *Crucially*, the fabric is *not waterproof*. Always store the base cushions indoors when not in use or when rain is expected. Spot clean cushions with mild soap and water if needed.
- Rattan Care: Wipe the rattan frame with a damp cloth and mild detergent periodically to remove dirt and dust. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Glass Tabletop: Clean the tempered glass with standard glass cleaner and a soft cloth to maintain clarity.
- Winter Storage: During colder months or prolonged periods of non-use, consider covering the rattan frame with a protective cover or storing the entire set in a shed or garage to extend its lifespan.
