To begin using Gracie, simply remove her from the packaging and ensure the demonstration batteries are functioning. If the toy does not respond, use a small Phillips head screwdriver to open the battery compartment located on the back of the device. Replace the 4 LR44 batteries with fresh ones, ensuring the polarity matches the markings inside the slot. To maintain the longevity of the toy, store Gracie in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. If the doll surface becomes dusty, use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe it clean; do not submerge the toy in water as this will damage the internal electronic components.
