Did you know bacteria can double on an untreated surface in just 20 minutes? It's scary, but it's true. The good news is that you can battle those little beasties with the help of these antibacterial food scales from Taylor Pro. These plastic scales are treated with a food-safe antimicrobial additive, which inhibits the surface growth of mould and bacteria. They're ideal for hygiene-conscious home chefs who want a little extra peace of mind. And because they help curb the germs that cause stains and odours, they're really easy to keep clean and fresh too. Hygiene aside, they're the same kind of high-quality, accurate weighing scales you expect from Taylor. These large display kitchen scales have a backlit LCD screen, with big, distinct numbers that are easy to read. They feature an innovative dial control, which makes it simple to select dry or liquid units (grams, pounds / ounces, millilitres and fluid ounces). Press the dial to activate the tare feature, which instantly zeroes the display – great for discounting container weights or weighing multiple ingredients in the same bowl. A separate "hold" button keeps the weight on the screen for easy meal planning. These easy-read kitchen scales are made of robust ABS plastic. They require three AAA batteries. Includes a twenty-year guarantee.
