Product Information

Full details

The Hinders Blitz Expander Mix is designed for coarse anglers targeting carp, tench, and bream who require a highly reactive groundbait that stimulates aggressive feeding. Its primary benefit is the potent cloud effect created by the blend of fishmeal, spices, and liquid attractors, which draws fish into the swim quickly; however, users should note that the high potency of the attractants means it is best used in targeted scenarios rather than as a bulk-fill bait.

FAQs

Can I use this for float fishing?

Yes, it can be used as a loose feed or balled up for pole fishing, provided the consistency is adjusted to break down at the required depth.

Does this mix contain artificial dyes?

The mix relies on natural attractants and high-quality ingredients to create its visual cloud effect.

Is this effective for winter fishing?

Absolutely, the pungent aroma and natural stimulants are excellent for enticing slow-feeding fish in colder temperatures.

How long will one 700g pack last?

This depends on your feeding style, but it is typically intended for 1-2 standard sessions when used for feeder fishing.

Can I combine this with other groundbaits?

Yes, it can be blended with neutral base mixes to stretch the bait further while still retaining the benefit of the Blitz attractor.

Troubleshooting

The mix is too sticky and won't break down.

You have added too much water. Add a small amount of dry mix to soak up the excess moisture until the desired fluffy consistency is reached.

The mix breaks apart mid-cast.

The mix is too dry or lacks enough compression. Add water in very small increments and pack it into the feeder with firmer pressure.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Creates a highly visible and pungent feeding cloud
Extremely versatile for various fishing styles
Highly effective for attracting carp, tench, and bream
Consistent and reliable breakdown in water

Cons

700g pack size may be insufficient for long sessions
Highly potent aroma can linger on hands and gear
Not intended for use as a bulk base mix due to its concentration

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To prepare the mix, add water slowly while mixing thoroughly until you achieve a consistency that holds together under firm pressure but breaks apart when flicked with a finger. Avoid over-wetting, as the reactive nature of the mix can become too sticky if saturated. It is compatible with all standard method feeders and open-end feeders. Store the resealable 700g bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the potency of the liquid attractants. Always seal the bag tightly after each session to prevent the moisture-sensitive ingredients from hardening.
