Philadelphus ‘Little White Love’ produces large, double white flowers that are highly fragrant. This plant will grow to a neat and tidy size, reaching a maximum height of 90cm (36 inches). It is perfect for planting into pots and borders. The flowers appear from late May through to July, and the plant retains its leaves well into autumn, adding extra depth to your garden. Grow Philadelphus plants in a sunny or semi-shaded position, in any well-drained soil. Before planting, incorporate plenty of well-rotted manure or garden compost into the soil. Plant Mock Orange plants at the same depth as they were in their pots. When planting Philadelphus, ensure you backfill the planting hole and water well to settle the soil.
