Product Information
Full details
The RØDE SMR shockmount is an extremely durable and premium accessory designed for expensive microphones. Constructed from a military-grade polymer and featuring a double Rycote Lyre system, it ensures adequate attenuation of unwanted vibrations and rumble. It includes a removable, all-metal pop filter that is highly effective for plosive protection and is easily washable. The clamping system distributes load over a large surface area, making it virtually immune to wear and tear from repeated use. The SMR also boasts an integrated cable management system and is compatible with all RØDE studio microphones. Its frame is built from an engineering-grade reinforced polymer, typically used in high-load applications like safety equipment, automotive components, and military artillery. Vibration force is evenly distributed via wide mounting rails, increasing the Lyre system's effectiveness. The revolutionary double-Lyre suspension system enhances vibration cancellation by using a smaller inner Lyre as a tensioning element, keeping each Lyre in its most efficient neutral position.
