Product Information

Full details

The Pooch & Mutt Calm & Relaxed Oil Supplement is designed for pet owners seeking a natural, plant-based way to support their dog's emotional wellbeing and physical health. This 100% hemp oil is ideal for dogs that experience situational stress or those needing an extra boost for coat and joint maintenance. While it offers a holistic approach to relaxation, it is important to note that results can vary depending on the individual dog's temperament and dietary needs, and it should not replace professional veterinary advice for severe anxiety.

FAQs

Is this oil psychoactive?

No. The hemp oil used in this supplement is designed for nutritional and calming purposes and does not contain THC or psychoactive properties.

Can I give this to my puppy?

Please check the specific age guidelines on the packaging or consult with your veterinarian, as nutritional requirements vary for growing puppies.

How often should I give the oil?

It is intended for daily use to maintain consistent levels of Omega fatty acids and to support a steady, calm demeanor.

Does this replace my dog's regular medicine?

No. This is a dietary supplement and is not intended to treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always consult your vet regarding your dog's medication.

How long does a 250ml bottle last?

The duration depends on your dog's size and the daily dosage required. Check the dosage chart on the bottle for specific weight-based guidelines.

Troubleshooting

Dog refuses to eat food with the oil added

Start with just a few drops to let your dog get used to the flavor, then gradually increase to the full recommended dose over the course of a week.

Oil appears cloudy or thick

This is normal for high-quality hemp oil when stored in cooler temperatures. Keep the bottle at room temperature and shake well before use.

No visible change in dog's behavior

Ensure the supplement is being administered daily and consistently. Natural supplements often require 2-4 weeks of usage before behavioral changes become noticeable.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: Start with a small amount to allow your dog to adjust to the taste of the hemp oil.
Compatibility: The oil is compatible with most standard kibble, raw diets, and wet food formulas. Always consult your vet before adding new supplements if your dog is already on prescription medication.
Storage: Keep the bottle in a cool, dark place. Hemp oil is sensitive to light and high temperatures, which can degrade the fatty acids over time.
Maintenance: Ensure the cap is screwed on tightly after every use to prevent oxidation.
