They are designed for outdoor use and are durable, but they should be placed in areas protected from severe flooding or prolonged submersion.
Battery life depends on the brand of batteries used, but the 6-hour timer is optimized to extend longevity throughout the festive season.
Yes, their compact size and festive aesthetic make them excellent additions to indoor mantlepieces, side tables, or holiday displays.
No, the built-in 6-hour timer handles the daily schedule automatically once activated.
The LEDs are integrated into the structure; if a bulb fails, the entire unit usually requires inspection or replacement, so handle with care during storage.
Check that the batteries are inserted correctly and that they have sufficient charge. Ensure the switch is firmly in the 'on' or 'timer' position.
The timer cycle begins when you first switch the device on. If you need to reset the start time, turn the switch to 'off', wait a few seconds, and switch it back to 'timer' at the desired time of day.
Setting up the Sesil Squirrel & Hector Hedgehog is straightforward: insert three AA batteries into the dedicated compartment on each figure and toggle the power switch to the 'timer' setting. Ensure the battery compartment is sealed properly if provided with a gasket to maintain weather resistance. When the festive season concludes, wipe the acrylic surfaces with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth to remove dust or debris before storing them in a cool, dry box to preserve the LEDs for the following year.
